Cassidy 2017 FFA

“I have been blessed in the last two years I have met some of the most amazing people and grown the relationships I already had. Currently I am serving as the Warden FFA’s secretary and also the district FFA’s reporter. I compete in Agricultural Issues. I use to be scared of talking in front of people; after I went to state and competed it’s given me more confidence and made me feel more comfortable with being a leader. All the weekends and time after school to work on issues or go to interview people with my amazing team is what I look forward to. These times have been the highlight of my life. I’m so glad I got to be a part of the Warden FFA chapter. Moving schools from Moses Lake to Warden was hard at first but, it was the best choice I have made. After switching schools I have been more involved and learned so much more about agriculture. Even if you don’t win, FFA gives you so many lessons you will never forget and benefit your life forever. Even in the show ring if you fall down or your animal isn’t cooperating you have to push through and work as hard as you can to get through it. Just like in life when things aren’t going your way you can’t just give up, you have to keep fighting. FFA teaches you to be grateful for what you have and to appreciate the people around you. I’d also like to say thank you to Mr. Utter for getting me started in FFA and thank Mr. Dansie and Mr. Kisler, you two have taken me in and taught me so many things. I’d like to say thank you to Kris DeTrolio for all the pep talks before competition and before a show, for being another mom to me, and always having faith in me.”
